I just wanted to tell you that we have your elk decoy and it works wonderful. We fondly refer to her as Matilda and she helped my get my first elk with a bow.

We were hunting and ended up in a old clear cut with no trees. Only knee high thistles. We spotted a spike and quickly dropped down to thistle height. We were not sure what we were going to do with no cover, when my boyfriend Nick remembered Matilda. He flipped her out and started running backwards cow calling.

That spike wanted Matilda so bad he ran into the clear-cut and didn't pay the least bit attention to me as I drew my bow back. I was still sitting with no cover as he paused for a moment at 15 yards. My arrow went right through his heart. He did not go more than 50 feet and was down. Thank you for Matilda. Without her I wouldn't have had a chance at my spike.
