| Clay Owens Hey guys! I took the Kojo Coyote for a couple of test runs this morning. I had limited time and so I only made a couple of stands but the results were great. Got one on my first stand and the decoy proved to be the deal breaker. The first coyote shot in at the decoy like he was possessed. Second stand, the big male was after the decoy and really wanting to do some damage, shot him at 8 steps as he circled toward the decoy, number two was also just focused on the decoy and never new what happened. I think the non threatening posture of the decoy is what makes it so effective, super product!! Thanks Clay Owens Tim Peterson The three coyotes in tis picture really liked your decoy. They were so busy looking at it, they never saw me. The make on the left came in to 40 yards, and I put him down with my shotgun. I have a funny story for you guys! On my very first set up with the coyote decoy. My partner and I were set up on a hay field. With 20 yards between us, and a group of old growth Cotton woods behind us. the decoy was 30 yards to our left. Just before dark we were playing a baby cotton tail tape, when we heard something running behind us. we looked around slowly nothing, then from behind us a giant raccoon 35-40 pounds ran between us it never saw us. that coon ran like crazy into the Hay field and right into the decoy. When he saw the decoy he slammed on the brakes turned around and ran like something was on his back side. Right back to the trees it came from. We havent seen a coon since. With a good decoy and good calling you never know what might show up. Keep up the good work!!! Tim Peterson |
