Derek Martin Thanks Montana Decoy and Staff. The decoys worked great I had two mule deer feeding decoys for this hunt and they produced. Conditions were tough to spot and stalk in the crunchy snow so I changed tactics. I also have some good video (I didn't get the kill) footage for tactics and set up for blind usage for western style hunting. I was on my way to the blind. They were so large and loud that I often couldn't get them setup without spooking game. The first time I tried a Montana Decoy I had crawled to within a few hundred yards of a bedded mule deer buck with two does. I quietly pulled the decoy out of my pack and set it up in view of the buck. Instantly he stood up and headed my way and a short time later at a distance of 10 yards I sent an arrow through both lungs. Since then I have taken game from turkeys to elk using Montana Decoys.
