I live on the Westside of Washington State also known as the wetside because of our frequently rainy days. Washington is not known for producing a lot of trophy animals, but we do have a variety of great animals to hunt. Another benefit of hunting here is the general season that allows me to hunt every year even if I strike out in the draw system.
I am passionate about hunting Blacktail deer, Roosevelt Elk and Mule Deer. I have been fortunate enough to also hunt in Utah and Idaho for elk and mule deer. Hunting is more than an activity or a season for me. As soon as one season ends the next one begins.
I believe that hunting and specifically archery hunting is a form of therapy. I hope that someday I can give back to the hunting sports.
Being on Montana Decoy Pro Staff is a privilege and I am thankful for the opportunity to share my experiences and knowledge. Montana Decoy makes a quality product that ALL hunters should use. Because of their decoys I have been more successful in the field. My goal is to spread the word that Montana Decoys should be in everybody`s pack to increase their chances to being successful.
I believe there is no greater rush than being successful with a bow. Success to me is not measured by the antler size! I enjoy the story just as much as the sight of a great trophy.
