David was born and raised in the state of Montana. David learned how to hunt and be a good steward of the land from his father, family and friends at a very young age. I first started hunting at the age of 8 (small games ie; rabbits, squirrels, gophers)..first bow was a Bear (recurve) used for a few years. Then I received a Bear (compound--gifted to me) and purchased my first bow (PSE) and purchased another used (PSE) and got a great deal on a matthews bow and still using it today.
David has taken many small game and varmints at a very young age, until getting his first big game animal at the age of 12. My first dear was a muledeer 3x4 at the age of 12, I got my first elk at the age of 13 (spike) and antelope (both with a rifle) I have harvested a deer and an elk every year up to this date, used rifle/bow. I got my first antelope with a bow last year (2010) David`s passion for hunting and spending time in the outdoors has only grown.
David is an avid hunter and a fisherman. David enjoys camping and four-wheeling with his family and friends. David, his wife and three kids enjoy as much time together as possible in these activities. David continues to hunt with many of those same family and friends.
I go gopher hunting w/bow too keep my skills honed, I have joined winter leagues (3D and techno shoots, as well as winter shoots, spring shoots, too keep my skills honed.
David is a hunter and a bow hunter`s education instructor for the state of Montana and he teaches good hunting ethics and respect for the outdoors. As you`ll see, hunting is still very much a way of life for his family and the state of Montana. Montanans are proud of their hunting heritage.
