James is a member of the Colorado Bowhunter Association; he was also on the Colorado bow hunting record book committee for CBA 2007 5 Edition.
James is a Colorado Division Wildlife Bow hunter instructor. He is also a member of the New York Bow Hunter association, Bear Creek Archery, Skyline Hunting and Fishing Club for many years. He is currently Archery Chairman for Skyline Hunting and Fishing Club at Lockheed Martin.
For over 25 years Jim has coached big game calling, archery and bow hunting. Jim uses new, old and homemade calls – decoy – for big and small game. Jim is active in performing calling seminars at Bass Pro and Jax – Outdoor Gear and local archery shops and events.
Jim served as Colorado State Archery Association bow hunter director for the 2007 – 2008 year. He is a hunter that has taken 90 big game with a bow, 4 Pope and Young big game animals. Jim is a professional archer and hunter for 25 years with Bear Creek Archery; he is a 5-time Colorado State Champion archer over the years. Jim is a staff shooter for various archery manufacturers over the years. Jim enjoys just having fun when it comes to calling big game.
