Scott & Kami McGann reside in the small SW Idaho town of Emmett. Combined they have over 20 years of Bowhunting experience with over 50 big game harvests. Several of which have been entered into the Pope & Young Record book. Kami has been bowhunting for 4 years and has put 3 Elk in their freezer along with Mule Deer & Antelope. Kami is very competitive in local and state 3-D archery shoots with several wins to her credit. Scott competes in 3-D archery shoots with many wins to his credit as well. While Scott has been hunting his entire life probably the biggest award he has garnished is in 2001 he was named the Idaho State Bowhunter of the Year.
Kami & Scott were very blessed in 2010 by the addition of their 1st child to their "Hunting Camp". Kami & Scott have always had a special place in their hearts for kids and their love of hunting. In 2002 they founded "Scooter`s Youth Hunting Camp" as a way to give back to the kids of the area. They bring in experts to help teach kids 9-16 years of age about hunting. In the 10 years this camp has been going Kami and Scott are very proud of the fact they personally have put a bow in over 1700 kid`s hands to shoot. This camp is held on the 1st Sat. in May each year in Emmett, Id. The 2011 camp was their 10th anniversary and they were able to get 10 guns & 3 bows donated to raffle off to the kids.
Kami & Scott are very active in their church and know that God created the awesome mountains for us to enjoy. When Kami & Scott are not out hunting Idaho`s backcountry you might catch them on the Snake River bowfishing as well. Well actually you will probably find them chasing their son Micah around very shortly.
