PACK A MOOSE DECOY FOR SUCCESS

You’ve been planning the trip for years. It’s a long flight from the lower 48 to Alaska, where, after having your equipment inspected three times by TSA and finally claiming your bags, it’s off to catch a Cessna for yet another leg of the trip into the wilderness where roads do not exist and never will. Upon landing in the rough terrain, unloading your gear and repacking it onto horses, it’s time for the trek to basecamp. Arrive at basecamp, unpack, shoot your bow a few times to make sure the sights weren’t jarred during travel, relax. The travel may sound grueling, but it’s all part of the adventure, one you’ll likely never forget. And hopefully as a welcome, the cook has a moose tenderloin marinating for dinner.

Besides the tiring elements of travel, the hunt itself can be physically and mentally exhausting. Bad weather and bears can confine you to camp or make moose disappear into the landscape. Again, nothing we’re saying here is meant to quell your desire to bow hunt moose, we’re just stating the facts and asserting the importance of being ready should your opportunity arrive.

More times than not, ol’ Bullwinkle needs a visual to accompany the sound of a cow call, especially if your maximum shooting range is between 40 and 60 yards. The Moose II is the best moose decoy on the market for bowhunters who need to bring that big bull in just a bit further.

The Moose decoy is constructed of a durable polyester fabric with a spring steel band inside the body to hold the body erect. To support the Decoy, poles with step stakes are used. The decoy body has a high quality picture printed on both sides, giving the 2D decoy that 3D look.

To set up, simply pop the decoy open, insert the fold down back pole, and then insert the two leg poles and you are ready to go. The take down procedure is accomplished by removing the poles and using a simple twist fold technique on the decoy body

This great feature allows the decoy to be folded to a compact size of 23” x 13” to stuff into your pack. Lightweight, durable, compact, realistic and effective... It's everything a serious moose hunter is looking for.

We’ve sat quietly listening to veteran moose hunters and outfitters who have studied the habits of bull moose for countless seasons in countless situations. And this decoy is the result. Nothing good comes easy, but we can bet Moose II will at least improve your chances, and maybe even save your hunt, like it did here:
